Inside Bitch is an original production, co-produced by Clean Break with the Royal Court Theatre. Co-directed by Stacey Gregg and Deborah Pearson, and devised by them with Lucy Edkins, Jennifer Joseph, TerriAnn Oudjar and Jade Small. It will be presented to audiences for the first time as part of the Royal Court Theatre’s Spring 2019 season in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs.

Thick As Thieves is an original commission from award-winning playwright Katherine Chandler. Co-produced by Clean Break with Theatr Clwyd and directed by Roìsìn McBrinn, Thick As Thieves opened in October 2018 at Theatr Clwyd before embarking on a national tour, alternating between public venues Salisbury Playhouse and Hull Truck Theatre, 3 women’s prisons and once for probation service users in Kent.

In each prison setting the show was presented as part of a programme of participatory activities, designed and delivered by Clean Break practitioners to inspire and build self-esteem among the prison residents.
